Who we are

The Inspiration Station Launchpad(ISL) was formed in 2023 with the aim of impacting students in primary and secondary schools around the construction of Kieni Kiandege- Mworoga- Maara Road in Meru

County. This concept was initialized by the Founder, Ivy Getanda, an

assistant Engineer on the road project who is passionate about

mentorship and has a passion for making a difference in her

community. She teamed up with her colleague Joan Sabii, the co-founder, and together, they work hand in hand to ensure they not only deliver the road project successfully but also impact the students around the road project through: education, instilling life skills, inspiring girls to appreciate Science, technology, Engineering and Technology (STEM) and offering counselling guidance to the

teenagers

Primary school students are mentored on various subjects such as: academics and goal setting

SECONDARY SCHOOL MENTORSHIP

Highschool students are mentored on various subjects such as: drugs and substance abuse, excellence in academics, mental health and goal setting

APPRECIATION OF STEM

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) is the backbone of our modern world. Enhancement of this to girls and boys in the rural areas is key.
